About Me
My name is Katharina Kronsteiner, MS
I've always loved food. I've always been curious about ingredients, flavors, cooking techniques, and different cuisines. That curiosity pushed me to learn everything I could, giving me a solid foundation that I still use everyday. My first experiences came from my childhood, helping my aunt cook using only ingredients from her farm. In my 20s I worked in bars and restaurants in NYC and Portland, OR, which gave me practical culinary experience and the chance to work with some incredible chefs. Eventually, I began approaching food through the lens of nutrition.
I like to cook with what I have. Whether that's something from my garden, the farmer's market, or my pantry. Cooking for me isn't about following strict recipes, it's about using what's available and making it taste good.
My approach to nutrition has been shaped by my own health journey. Like many, I've struggled with body image, restrictive diets, and not giving myself the nourishment it deserves. Learning about nutrition helped me connect my love of food with taking care of my health in a sustainable and enjoyable way.
Now, I work with people to focus on eating more nutrients, not less food. I aim to make feeding yourself accessible and stress-free. Using a weight-inclusive approach, I help you feel energized and comfortable in your body. I provide personalized support and practical tools to support your health and bring more ease into your life.
Along with nutrition, I also work as a personal chef. You can hire me for a dinner party when you want to impress your guests without the stress of cooking, a weekend getaway, brunch, or any special occasion. I also offer virtual one-on-one cooking sessions, whether you'd like a few meals prepped to get you started, or you want to learn techniques that make I easier to cook without always relying on a recipe.
